Reliance is the new creative project of the talented saxophonist Gabriel Genest, who won the François-Marcaurelle Award at L’OFF Jazz Festival in 2021. The ensemble presents compositions in which complex rhythms blend with lyrical melodies and modal harmony in a modern jazz that draws its influences from impressionist music as much as from the jazz tradition and European jazz.
