The OFF Jazz is not only Montreal’s go-to jazz festival of the fall season, but it’s above all, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting, developing and raising the profile of Quebec musicians working in the jazz and creative music scenes.
No. The OFF Jazz is an independent organization that has been in existence for more than 20 years. It produces its own festival, which shines the spotlight on local artists.

The tickets for the 21st edition of the festival are available at the box office for each venue (The Bourgie Concert Hall of the Montreal Museum Of Fine Arts and the Cabaret le Lion d’or). For further information, please consult the “Box Office” page, as well as the pages pertaining to each concert.
The 21st edition will take place from the 1st through the 3rd of October 2020 in Montreal. The concerts will take place in front of a live audience in two of the city’s venues: the Bourgie Concert Hall and the Cabaret le Lion d’or. Some concerts will be broadcasted live on the Web. There will be no passports on sale for this 21st edition. You may nevertheless purchase tickets for each concert and/or obtain a package deal for two concerts on the same evening. See the page “Box Office”.
In honor of François-Marcaurelle, co-founder of the OFF JAZZ festival, and in collaboration with Quebec Musician’s Union, the François-Marcaurelle award is given to a musician or group that has set itself apart during an edition of the festival. This award includes a grant of $750, as well as an invitation to participate in one the following editions of the OFF JAZZ. Consult the list of recipients.
