For the OFF Jazz festival, pianist and composer Rafael Zaldivar launches his Afro-Cuban Revival, concert presented by the Bourgie Hall. Zaldivar recreates that distinct cuban sound where you’ll find jazz roots and the rhythmic spirituality of his native country, Cuba. Listen for his mastery of the blues and his dextrous shift to contemporary Latin jazz. He’s joined by the percussionist and singer Amado Dedeu Garcia, singer Sarah Rossy, bassist Rémi-Jean LeBlanc and drummer Louis-Vincent Hamel.
