Scott Thomson : Solos de trombone à heures indues

In the form and spirit of his Trombone Solos at Odd Hours (Solos de trombone à heures indues) series that he has presented in seven instalments since 2014, Scott Thompson will play seven 30-minute solo trombone concerts in the main hall of the Darling Foundry. These fully improvised concerts will each start at different, very precise start-times and take advantage of the natural resonance of the Foundry’s architecture. With no conventional concert seating offered to them, the audience is invited to circulate to experience the Momenta Biennale exhibition while the trombonist plays. There will be no intentional link between the music and the exhibition.
